Turkey Burgers & Homemade Summer Salad

Ever since I started eating healthy, I have been addicted to making my own homemade burgers.  From chicken, turkey, and even veggie patties. This way you know exactly what is going into your burger/ body. I add in different ingredients each time I make burgers, usually depending on what I have in the kitchen, but they turn out better each time.  I always add in at least one egg to bind the ingredients together.

Ingredients

Turkey Burgers

Summer Salad

  • 1 cup red onion
  • 2 small cucumbers
  • I cup of almonds (cut in half)
  • 2 cloves of garlic (minced)
  • Red wine vinegar
  • White wine Champagne
  • lemon juice

 

Directions

Turkey Burgers

  1. Preheat oven to 400
  2. Add in all ingredients into medium size mixing bowl
  3. Mix ingredients together and make them into 1 inch sized patties
  4. Place turkey patties on parchment paper
  5. Bake for 10 minutes on each side

Summer Salad

  1. Combine all ingredients into a large bowl
  2. Add in lemon juice, red wine vinegar, and white wine vinegar
