Ever since I started eating healthy, I have been addicted to making my own homemade burgers. From chicken, turkey, and even veggie patties. This way you know exactly what is going into your burger/ body. I add in different ingredients each time I make burgers, usually depending on what I have in the kitchen, but they turn out better each time. I always add in at least one egg to bind the ingredients together.
Ingredients
Turkey Burgers
- Lean ground turkey meat
- 1 Vital Farms egg
- parsley
- 1/3 cup of diced onion
- 1 tsp Himalayan sea salt
- 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
Summer Salad
- 1 cup red onion
- 2 small cucumbers
- I cup of almonds (cut in half)
- 2 cloves of garlic (minced)
- Red wine vinegar
- White wine Champagne
- lemon juice
Directions
Turkey Burgers
- Preheat oven to 400
- Add in all ingredients into medium size mixing bowl
- Mix ingredients together and make them into 1 inch sized patties
- Place turkey patties on parchment paper
- Bake for 10 minutes on each side
Summer Salad
- Combine all ingredients into a large bowl
- Add in lemon juice, red wine vinegar, and white wine vinegar
